Prestige Biopharma to Present Preliminary Phase 1/2a Results of Pancreatic Cancer Antibody PBP1510 at AACR 2025

Prestige Biopharma (CEO: Soyeon Park) announced that it will present preliminary safety results from its Phase 1/2a clinical trial of the pancreatic cancer antibody therapeutic PBP1510 at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting 2025, which will be held in Chicago, USA from April 25 to 30.

With this presentation, the company will mark its third consecutive year presenting at AACR, one of the world’s leading oncology conferences alongside the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO). The continued presence at major international cancer conferences highlights the growing potential of PBP1510 as a novel therapeutic candidate for pancreatic cancer.

During the conference, Prestige Biopharma will present in the “First-in-Human Phase 1 Clinical Trials” session on April 28, sharing preliminary safety results from the first-in-human Phase 1/2a study of PBP1510 (anti-PAUF) in patients with advanced or metastatic pancreatic cancer.

The clinical trial is evaluating the safety and tolerability of PBP1510 both as a monotherapy and in combination with the standard chemotherapy agent gemcitabine. This marks the first public presentation of safety data from the ongoing Phase 1 study. Approximately 70% of the planned patient enrollment has already been completed, with the remaining recruitment expected to be finalized soon.

The abstract will be presented by Dr. Daniel A. King, a leading pancreatic cancer researcher and principal investigator from Northwell Health, the largest healthcare provider in New York State, who is overseeing the clinical study of PBP1510.

Approximately 30% of enrolled patients in the trial are being treated in the United States, where pancreatic cancer represents one of the largest treatment markets. As the U.S. principal investigator presents the study findings for the first time, the company expects heightened interest from the global oncology research community.

A company representative stated, “Prestige Biopharma holds global intellectual property rights for anti-PAUF antibodies, making us the only company capable of developing technologies based on this target. The selection of our abstract for presentation at AACR demonstrates the growing recognition of PBP1510’s clinical potential.”

The company also plans to continue advancing its dual strategy of accelerating the completion of the Phase 1 clinical trial while pursuing the development of an early diagnostic kit for pancreatic cancer, ultimately aiming to establish a comprehensive pancreatic cancer treatment ecosystem.
