Prestige Biologics to Be Listed on KOSDAQ on March 11, 2021
Prestige Biologics Co., Ltd., located in Osong, Chungcheongbuk-do, is set to be listed on the KOSDAQ market on March 11, 2021.
The Korea Exchange (KRX), chaired by Byung-doo Sohn, approved the company’s listing on the KOSDAQ market.
Previously, Prestige Biologics conducted a book-building process for institutional investors on February 23 and 24, during which it confirmed its offering price at KRW 12,400, the top end of the indicative price band. The process recorded a competition ratio of 369.91 to 1.
Subsequently, the public subscription for retail investors resulted in a combined competition ratio of 126 to 1.
Founded in 2015, Prestige Biologics is a biopharmaceutical company primarily engaged in the development and manufacturing of biosimilars and antibody-based therapeutics.
As an affiliate of Singapore-based Prestige Biopharma, the company is currently engaged in the contract manufacturing of certain biosimilars and antibody therapeutics developed by Prestige Biopharma.
The company currently operates its first manufacturing facility with a capacity of 6,000 liters and obtained GMP certification from Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety in April 2019. In addition, a second manufacturing plant equipped with enhanced process flexibility and a smart factory platform is currently under construction.
